We conduct our own testing in-house and are proud of the results. We also work with industry, university and government bodies around the world to develop certification standards and testing methodologies. We not only meet industry standards, we help to set them.

Extensive worldwide testing, third-party certification, and countless success stories all ensure that our products do what we say they’ll do, and meet all relevant building codes. Our concrete waterproofing systems have been reviewed, tested and approved by the world’s most respected testing and inspection authorities, including:
British Board of Agrément (BBA) - Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) has received an Agrément Certificate.
Central Public Works Department (India) - Approval of Krystol waterproofing products in government structures.
Chinese National Standards – Beijing Building Material Quality Supervision Test Center has certified that Krystol & KIM have passed the Chinese National Standard.
Civil Engineering Institute of Croatia – Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) tested fore freeze/Thaw resistance and watertightness according to DIN standards.
CPRU certification (Brunei) - Formed by the Ministry of Development, the Construction Planning and Research Unit (CPRU) promotes safety, quality and universal standards in Brunei. Certification provides Kryton with access to all government-owned projects in the oil and gas-rich state.
Dubai Municipality (UAE) - KIM has received a "Technical Approval Certificate" from the Dubai Central Laboratory Department as a concrete admixture to enhance water resistance and durability of concrete. KIM and Krystol T1/T2 have also received approval for use in potable water containment structures.
European CE mark - KIM-HS has qualified to use the CE Mark, which means it meets all applicable European Union directives, safety guidelines and quality standards.
International Code Council - Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) - Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) was the first chemical concrete admixture certified by ICC-ES, a non-profit U.S. organization that reviews and evaluates building products, materials and methods to ensure they comply with applicable building codes.
Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LARR) – LARR has certified KIM is compliant with Los Angeles City Building Codes.
NCB India – KIM received a test certificate as a waterproofing compound by the National Council for Cement and Building Materials.
NSF International - Krystol has been certified non-toxic by NSF, a widely respected worldwide certification provider that develops national standards for food, indoor air, environment and water.
Province of British Columbia (Ministry of Municipal Affairs – Building Standards Branch) – Krystol T1 and T2 have been accepted under B.C.'s building code.
Romanian Ministry of Public Works, Transportation and Habitation - KIM, Krystol T1 and T2 and several other Kryton products have been certified in Romania.
Shriram Institute for Industrial Research (India) - Krystol products tested for water permeability and chloride penetration.
Whatcom County Health Department, Washington, USA - The health department has stated that KIM may be used to ensure a watertight seal of septic tanks and pump chambers.
Washington State Department of Transportation, USA – The (WSDOT) approved KIM for use in WSDOT projects.
