In recognition of International Women’s Day, Kryton has been pleased to take part in an industry-wide effort to recognize and honor the labor of women in the concrete sector. Staff from the main office in Vancouver, Canada, came together to commemorate the event. And Kryton’s own CEO, Kari Yuers, participated in an interview with Concrete BC, sharing her experiences as a woman working in the industry.
It’s all to celebrate how far the industry has come with gender diversity and to encourage further progress. Women still make up a small percentage of the concrete sector, but there is room for that percentage to grow. With that growth, the industry will have access to more perspectives and a chance to further innovate on existing practices.
It will allow the industry to build better than ever and give women more job opportunities. That’s why Kryton continues to celebrate and promote International Women’s Day and encourages others to do the same.
Happy International Women’s Day!
