THE OPPORTUNITY

Kryton International, a highly respected and successful world innovator in concrete waterproofing and durability solutions, is seeking an additional member to their R&D Technical Department. We are looking for a new INSIDE SALES CONSULTANT. We are seeking a high performing Inside Sales Consultant who can help us operate as a bridge between Customers and the Sales team demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of our Maturix Concrete Monitoring solution and providing outstanding customer service assistance.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The Inside Sales Consultant brings outstanding customer service skills in developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers. As the Inside Sales Consultant, you are the prime technical resource for the Maturix solution.

 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Inside Sales Consultant is responsible for technical assistance during the initial stages of the sales process through to order fulfillment and post-sales support activities (including training new Customers and ongoing technical consultation). You will be making contact with prospects to determine their needs and interest in the company’s products or services. You will be assisting the Sales team in speaking to customers to discuss their needs and determine how the company’s products will meet those needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Commerce or International Trade is desirable
  • Experience: 3 – 4 years’ experience in inside sales or business development
  • Experience selling software products requiring recurring subscription would be an asset
  • This position has numerous contacts both inside and outside the company, and consequently the person must be able to develop a level of comfort with a variety of people including senior executives, government representatives, potential distributors, trade association members and others.
  • This person must also have excellent written skills and be able to effectively sell and communicate by email to international customers.
  • Experience with inside sales for North America is an asset.
  • Familiarity with a manufacturing, construction or industrial environment is an asset.
  • Self-motivated. Ability to work unsupervised yet can be a good team player
  • Well-organized self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize work in an effective manner.
  • Excellent research skills and ability to dig up hard to find information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environment with multi-tasking and flexible schedules.
  • Strong Customer Service Orientation
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and deal with multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Excellent computer skills in spreadsheet, work processing, database, email and internet.
  • Note: Ideal candidate must be able to travel internationally and domestically.
