Percent Fines

(1) the amount, expressed as a percentage, of material in aggregate finer than a given sieve, usually the 75 m m (No. 200);
(2) the amount of fine aggregate in a concrete mixture expressed as a percent by absolute volume of the total amount of aggregate.
