The Toronto International Airport required waterproofing for a 855 meter (2,800 foot) long utility tunnel carrying vital electrical and communication lines 20 meters (66 feet) below grade.
Krystol Crack Repair System was applied against a significant hydrostatic pressure to stop inside running water penetrating through the utility tunnels cold joints.
All cold joints were chiseled to a depth of 38 mm and packed with the Krystol Crack Repair System, as per specificaton.
Canadian Ministry of Transport waived normal 30-day payment holdback as the Krystol Crack Repair System far exceeded their expectations.
