Concrete structure is 30 meters long, 7 meters wide and 6 meters deep (89, 23 and 20 feet respectively). At first the contractor opted to use a competitor's product for the base slab. However, considerable cracking resulted. In 1997, The Crystal Group was contracted to provide Kryton's Krystol waterproofing materials to repair the cracked slab. Construction continued using Krystol Admixture System (KIM) treated concrete in place of competitor's waterproofing systems.
Cracks were repaired using Kryton's Krystol Crack Repair System. The remainder of the 38 centimeter (15 inch) concrete walls and suspended roof slab was poured using the Krystol Admixture System (KIM). To date, the pump house construction is performing perfectly.
