THE OPPORTUNITY
Kryton International, a highly respected and successful world innovator in concrete waterproofing and durability solutions, is seeking an additional member to their Operations Department. We are looking for a new high-performing MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN who will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, installing and repairing equipment as needed, while following safety rules and regulations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician who has minimum of 3 years experience of mechanical experience in millwright activities in a process, manufacturing, and/or mining environment.. He/she must have a valid Maintenance Technician Certificate or C.E.T. or working towards having the certification. The ideal candidate has Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certificate. The ideal candidate must have troubleshooting PLC and Plant controls experience and has knowledge of the dry grind system and flow system through mill and pneumatic area.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools. He/she will be responsible for inspecting machinery and equipment as part of the regular maintenance plan, to proactively detect irregularities and malfunctions, and adjust equipment and perform repairs as needed. The Maintenance Technician will liaise with outside services providers and take on miscellaneous tasks under the direction of the Plant Manager.
