How It Works

The Krystol Leak Repair System is simple 3-step process that involves preparing a chase by chiseling into the concrete, stopping flowing water with Krystol Plug, and filling the chase flush to the surface with Krystol Repair Grout.

The system uses Krystol technology which reacts with moisture to form insoluble needle-shaped crystals that fill capillary pores and micro-cracks in the concrete and block the pathways for water and waterborne contaminants.

Unlike other crystalline solutions that react with free lime that eventually depletes over time, Krystol Waterstop Grout chemically reacts with water and unhydrated cement particles. Any moisture introduced over the lifespan of the concrete will initiate crystallization, ensuring permanent waterproofing and watertightness protection.

Use Cases

Recommended to repair any leaking cracks or construction joints, firmly anchor bolts and ornamental iron, seal around pipes and metal fixtures in masonry concrete, repair spalled or honeycombed concrete, and plug and seal construction form tie holes. It can also be used as a waterproof plaster on masonry walls.
