Watch our webinar: Advanced Strategies for Integral Waterproofing Concrete in Modern Building Envelopes - Watch Now

Since 2004, Lee Construction Pte Ltd. has waterproofed numerous high-profile condominium projects in Singapore – more than anywhere else in the world – using Kryton International’s Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) admixture.
When added directly to fresh concrete, KIM’s crystalline chemicals, millions of needle-like crystals, grow and fill all pores and capillaries of the concrete, self-sealing hairline cracks and permanently blocking the movement of water and waterborne chemicals from all directions. KIM’s crystals remain dormant until future hairline cracks form, at which time they react with the incoming water to self-seal the crack.
By eliminating the need for external waterproofing membranes, KIM saves construction time and costs. It can be used any time before, during or after the construction process. KIM resists hydrostatic pressure of up to 140m, reduces corrosion and chemical resistance. Unlike external waterproofing membranes, KIM will not deteriorate. It lasts the lifetime of the concrete structure.
