Thalaso Terapija

At the Thalaso Terapija construction site, the construction team noted that mounting, flushing water did not cause the problem with flooding inside the building. The team selected Kryton International’s Krystol waterproofing system. The Krystol products were used to prevent water coming inside the concrete structure. The success was above everyone’s expectations.

Solution

Standard procedure for the Krytstol Internal Membrane (KIM) application was followed to ensure the concrete retention wall and structure was placed on the open stone, as shown in the pictures. Based on Kryton’s proprietary crystalline waterproofing technology, the Krystol System employs advanced integral crystalline waterproofing technology to transform porous concrete into a permanent, water-repellant barrier and provides a guaranteed defense against water damage and steel reinforcement corrosion through constant head pressure. When added or applied to concrete, Krystol causes millions of needle-like crystals to form, filling the spaces between concrete particles, blocking the penetration of water and corrosive elements and resisting hydrostatic pressure. Over time, incoming water causes additional crystals to form, self-sealing small concrete cracks.
