The Water Works valve chamber situated 4 meters (13 feet) below grade had constant standing water. In fact, the chamber was always filled to the top at ground level. Many attempts to waterproof the concrete chamber were attempted with no success. Waterworks, Croatia was skeptical regarding suppliers claims of waterproofing abilities.
In April 1998, the Krystol Crack Repair System was installed. The entire chamber was subsequently treated with Krystol T1. The chamber has not leaked since. Water Works, Croatia, considers the product application a "Miracle".
